Custom drawn lettering inspired by the London crime syndicate of the 19th-201th century known as Forty Elephants. This syndicate was comprised of women only who were very adept at shoplifting or “hoisting” and were very difficult to detect or catch red-handed. This piece features highly stylized bespoke lettering based loosely on blended attributes of 1910’s-1930’s Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles.
